From the north – (A1 Autostrada del sole motorway), exit at Valdichiana (Bettolle) and follow the signs for Perugia. Exit at Perugia-Madonna Alta and turn left in the direction of San Sisto. After 200 meters go past the first roundabout, in the direction of Pila. After 1 kilometer, go past the 2nd roundabout, once again towards Pila. Go straight on for another 500 meters until reaching the 3rd roundabout, take the road to the right and continue towards Pila. At this point go straight on through the first and second traffic lights, going straight towards Spina. After 3 kilometres is the 4th roundabout, which should be passed, heading straight on for Spina-S.Biagio della Valle. After about 1 kilometre there is a street sign showing 8 kilometres; 200 meters further on is the entrance to Antica Posta Vallelunga.
From the south – Take the A1 motorway and exit at Orte, then take the right-hand road for Terni. After 20 kilometres get on freeway E45 for Perugia-Cesena. Nearing Perugia, go past the Balanzano exit, then take the Perugia-Firenze link road. Exit at Perugia-Madonna Alta immediately after the fourth tunnel, and turn left towards San Sisto. After about 200 meters go past the first roundabout and continue towards Pila. After about 1 kilometres, go past the 2nd roundabout, once again in the direction of Pila.
