DESCRIPTION:

Croce di Bibbiano is an antique farm located in the heart of its vineyards and olive groves at the centre of Chianti, around 7 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 25 km from Siena and 40 km from Florence. Croce di Bibbiano is the ideal base for discovering the wonders of Chianti: it’s rolling hills, the very antique little villages that pop out from among the landscapes green like hand-painted postcards, the innumerable wine cellars that are almost always open to the public, and last but not least, experiencing the typical Tuscan welcome.

Croce di Bibbiano’s apartments are found inside an antique, typical stone monetary, and can host from 2 to 6 people; they are comprised of 1 double bedroom (2 or 3 according to the apartment chosen), a living room with sofa-bed and a bathroom for each bedroom. Each apartment also has a television and in town there is a laundry service with reasonable prices, besides the other useful services such as the organizations of tours in Chianti Classico, of Brunello di Montalcino, horseback riding, and unforgettable hot-air balloon rides.

Also available to our guests are gardens and farmyards with private tables and naturally the large 15x7m swimming pool at centre of the panoramic terrace which faces the towers of San Gimignano. Our location is therefore also a popular destination for the organizations of weddings, events with which we have much experience, as well as having a relationship with a catering partner, beside the many other little details and services which help to make your day, the most beautiful day.

From Monday to Friday, in the afternoons, it is possible to visit (free for our guests, and at a favourable price for outsiders) the wine cellars where our fine wines rest, and at the end of the tour – everyone to the wine shop to taste the farm’s products!

Upon request, typical cooking courses can be organized on-site, at the end of which the dishes taught will be served as dinner or lunch. There are also relaxation, autogenic training and meditation sessions held with professional instructors. During high-occupancy periods, dinners in the courtyard and light lunches in the garden are organized for our guests.
