The best things about apartment C in Villa Del Pino is the location. The view is wonderful and all the external terraces and pool areas are excellent. The worst things about are: Non-existent kitchen. A sink and a cooker that doesn´t work very well are all that are available. There is no food preparation or food storage area in the kitchen so we had to use the table in the living area, which is where the fridge/freezer is also located. A microwave oven is provided in the kitchen area but there is no power point or place to use it. It is stored at a high level on top of a tall cupboard where the pans are stored. The shower room immediately off the kitchen area is actually a toilet/bidet with shower on the wall. This is not a hygienic arrangement. Furthermore there are electrical switches and sockets within the room which make the shower unsafe to use. Very basic cooking and eating utensils. Insufficient cutlery and plates for 6 people to have a two course dinner. We had to buy our own large knife for cutting bread, a new can opener and chopping board. Nothing provided. On arrival there is absolutley nothing provided, not even a bottle of water. This means that going to the supermarket is a top priority. We had to buy basics such as salt, washing powder, detergent for cleaning plates etc etc. I would not expect food to be provided but basics such as these should be there - after all we left our purchases behind. It is not really suitable for 6 adults. The bedroom arrangements are such that only one room is truly a double bedroom. The second room uses a sofa bed and the 3rd room has a cabin bed and a fold-up bed. The provision of a new mattress for bedroom two and a new single bed for room 3 helped us during our stay, but the owner should provide proper beds in all rooms. The main living area seems to be furnished with a lot of "left over" furniture. The main sofa is actually another cabin bed. It seats three people leaving others to sit on a variety of plastic or wicker chairs in the evenings. The pool area would benefit from a couple of parasols to provide some shade.
