We booked our stay in Sorrento relatively last minute so we were delighted to find a place near the centre within our price range. The convent is 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of town. It can be reached by the main road which has a path on either side.

La Culla is a lovely historical building very near centres, shopping, markets and restaurants. Its being beautifully restored at the moment so there is visual construction but not noticed audibly with closure of the heavy doors. The view from the large terrace is absolutely breathtaking. Although the main busy and convenient street runs by, La Culla is on a hill so you dont hear it. The Sisters are very kind and helpful and provide a very nice breakfast. Its kept very clean, quiet and safe. The price for one person is very reasonable. I might recommend to perhaps not double the price for 2. I stayed for 11 delightful nights! I would highly recommend La Culla.

For us this was a lovely place to stay. The room was everything we needed, we used the beautiful Terrace and visited the Chapel. We also liked the security of the accommodation. Breakfast was great. We don´t have any negative comments to make. The Sisters were lovely and we left with regret that we are unlikely to again be visiting Sorrento. If Sister Monica does a painting of Saint Thereza I´d love to see it!
