This property is great in every way except for noise - and in this respect it is poor. There is no insulation between the owner´s apartment and the rental - we were able to hear everything and it was distracting. There´s even a decorative window between the main staircase of the owner´s unit and the rental, so that you can hear voices & movement as if they were in the room. As mentioned in another post, this was not an issue when the owners weren´t home, but on the weekend & other nights when they were there it was a problem. We have stayed in numerous hostels & hotels all over Africa & Asia - some of them very cheap & basic - and this would rank among the worst in terms of noise. If you have a young family/children, the noise creates problems for sleeping. If you´re a young couple who stays up late, then you´ve got no problem. The location is great - outside of Sorrento but close enough to walk (get the walking path map from the tourist office, very helpful). The unit is clean & basic - has everything you need. One weird thing was that there was no hot water in the kitchen unless you ran it in the bathroom first (a buildup of pressure? not sure) but we managed fine. No complaints really aside from the noise - a good home base if you have ear plugs.

rosanna apartment was a very nice place to stay with more than adequate space. noise from the home owners was sometimes disconcerting as any movement above was heard below. it was well equipped to the point of having an iron and ironing board (please take note daniele). the downside is it is too far from town to walk in safety so you must rely on what is a very good bus service (every 20 mins.). taxis are costly outside of bus hours (18-30 euros) depending on time and what you are hauling! the hill on the approach to rosanna apartment (200 metres) is very steep especially pushing a buggy so be prepared. local beach is not for the faint-hearted ie. too far, too hard to access (especially with a buggy) and jelly fish rule!!! nearby campsite (walking distance) has a good pool, worth checking out. mini-market (bottom of hill-beside bus stop) has the basic supplies and are friendly.

Although the property is in a very quiet location outside of the main town of Sorrento the sound insulation between the apartment and the main villa is very poor. This was only a problem however when the owners were home over the weekends (they live and work in Napoli in the week.) We found the footpath map for the area very useful and were able to walk in to Sorrento in 20 minutes without using the main (very busy)road. It would be useful to make this map available to guests - we got it from the Massa Lubrense tourist office. The photographs on the web site do not do the property justice - very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Generally we were very impressed with both the accomodation itself and the service from Tredy. We would definately recommend the company to others.

We found the appartment to be spacious and to a very high standard. It is well situated for use as a base to visit Pompeii, Capri, etc.

It said as we commented during our stay that a barbeque was offered. That was"nt the case. It was not a big problem, but we where exited about it before arrival.
