LOCATION:

The Farm is 700 metres from Praiola’s coast, a beach of white “cocole” under the Timpa 15 minutes from Etna , the highest active volcano in Europe. The farm is situated in Carrubba a rural environment with lots of woods and belongs to the district of Riposto, 5 kms away from the port of call and 20 km from Taormina’s town Centre.

DESCRIPTION:

Le “Grotte” is situated on the north-western slopes of Etna, a 1810 farmhouse immersed in 5 hectares of , citrus fruit, tree, lemons, oranges, clementines, mandarins and olives. The Farm is 700 metres from Praiola’s coast, a beach of white “cocole” under the Timpa 15 minutes from Etna , the highest active volcano in Europe.
The farm has 8 rooms which are all furnished in the Sicilian style with great care taken over every detail, other beds can be made available if required. Each room has a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, heating and air conditioning, satellite TV and a telephone. Externally there is a large parking area and two terraces that overlook orchards and beautiful greenery.
Bicycles (to rent) are available to our guests as well as excursion to places interest in the nearby area such as Acitrezza, Acicastello, from Acireale to Taormina up to Catania and its environs.
For guests that choose to stay overnight, breakfast is included, while, to have lunch or supper they have to booked for. For the people arriving at Catania airport, we provide a free transfer facility.
