TREDY offers different kinds of Italian accommodation (apartments, villas, hotels, convents) with discounted negotiated rates, travel packages dedicated to art, relax and much more, car rental at special rates, tours with guide (and in case limousine with driver) in any place in Italy.
How do I book?
Is my reservation confirmed or must I wait for a confirmation by the accommodation ?
Some accommodation are reserved and guaranteed for us and in this case the booking is confirmed at once without reconfirmation.
If the reservation requires confirmation by the lodging, within 24 hours, You will receive an e-mail of confirmation of the booking.
How do I pay for the booking ?
Usually for the hotels your credit card is required only as a guarantee of the booking and it is not charged before your stay. The payment of the total amount will be made directly to the hotel at the end of your stay, either with your credit card or in cash.
For the other kinds of accommodation, you are asked to pay half of the total sum of the reservation.
In every case you will be asked to enter your credit card details on a secure page where the data will be always in an illegible coded form to protect them.
Are taxes included in the price of the reservation ?
For Italian accommodation, taxes and VAT are always included in the total price of the reservation.
Are there other costs or service fees ?
No, the price showed on the reservation is the total price you will pay.
No fee is required by the system neither for cancellation or amendment of your reservation.
A penalty could be charged by the accommodation only for no-show or late cancellation made after the "cancellation deadline". See the "cancellation policy" on the description of the lodging.
How can I check the state of my booking ?
To check the state of your booking, click on the link “Your reservations” up on the right of the Home page. You will be requested to enter your email and your secret password to identify yourself.
When the new page appears, you can see the details of your reservation.
What is the Voucher and how do I print it out ?
The Voucher is a receipt which contains all the data relating to your booking. It is also the document which you have to produce when you arrive at the accommodation.
If you cannot print it out, but the booking has been confirmed, you must contact us so that we can either send it to you by fax or advise the accommodation that you will arrive without a voucher.
In the latter case, you will need only the booking code.
Is the price per room or per person ?
In general, according to international hotel usage, prices for B&B (bed and breakfast) are per room, while HB (half board) and FB (full board) are per person.
We recommend, however, that you check the terms of the accommodation.
Is breakfast included in the price of the room ?
Usually yes for hotels and b&b, but when you are making the booking, all the information about the type of service chosen and what is or is not included in the price is clearly stated on the tariff details.

In this case, please indicate clearly the accommodation, the dates of arrival and departure, the type and number of rooms and any other useful information.
How can I cancel my booking ?
To cancel your booking, it is sufficient that you send us an e-mail to indicate your will of eliminating your reservation. Your e-mail address and your password will be required. In case you are not able to access Internet for sending an e-mail of cancellation, you can send us a fax to (+39)-08119731942 with your reservation code (or e-mail and password) where you state your will of cancellation of your stay, but only by respecting the cancellation deadline.
What is the "Cancellation Policy"?
Accommodation can require a maximum time limit by which you can cancel without be charged by no penalty.
If you cancel the booking after this limit, the hotel can charge your credit card with an amount as a penalty for the unsold rooms. If you have reserved an apartment (either villa or b&b or a room in a convent), you loose the sum you have paid for booking: 50% of the total sum.
For instance, the writing "Cancellations prior to days: 30 of your arrival” means that by cancelling within 30 days before the check in date, no penalty is applied. Otherwise cancelling when the time limit is less than 30 days at the arrival you will be charged with the first night stay for the hotel or, in case a apartment (either villa or b&b or a room in a convent), you loose the sum you have paid for the booking.
As regards hotels, the value of the penalty is decided by the hotel and can vary from the first night to the total amount of the booking.
How can I change a booking?
To make a modification of your booking, you have to send us a message (e-mail or fax) giving the correct booking code and stating the changes that you want to be made, but only if you are still within the agreed cancellation time limits.
I want to cancel a booking. How can I find out if there will be a penalty charge?
You can check the state of your booking at any time. Click on "Your Reservations” up on the right of the Home page of TREDY and enter your e-mail and password you received by e-mail at the moment of your booking. In that page you will see the bookings you have made. If you wish to check the cancellation time limit, it is sufficient that in the same page you click on the name of the accommodation you have reserved: you will be linked to the page of your lodging and there you can read the cancellation policy.
How do I book for groups?
Can I book more than 5 rooms for a large group of people ?
Yes, but you have to make a specific request. Once you have found your preferred accommodation, you can send us an e-mail with the requested rooms, the dates of arrival and departure, the maximum price. You will receive a quotation shortly.
Discounts for the Travel Agencies ?
Tredy is glad to cooperate with Italian and foreign travel agencies, by making available over 1000 products (including accommodation and tour packages) in Italy: a unique offer in terms of breadth of offerings.
